MacBook Pro Notes App is offscreen

the .plist that holds the window position appears to be this one:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Notes.plist

Quit Notes.

Finder > Go Menu > Go to Folder

and paste that string in, and press return.

drag that file to the trash.

re-launch Notes, and the .plist should be re-created properly.

if that does not do the trick, you may need to delete a 'saved state' as well:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.apple.Notes.savedState

If a corner of the notes window is visible on the screen, drag it by that corner toward the center of the screen, resize the window to your liking, and use it.

There may be a few more saved state files as well:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.Notes.savedState/window_1.data

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.Notes.savedState/windows.plist

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.Notes.savedState/window_2.data

can you freely drag other windows around?

Did deleting those files solve the problem? i
