TextEdit bugs after upgrading to MacOS Ventura (13.0).

Hello-

After upgrading to MacOS Ventura (13.0), experiencing the following issues in TextEdit, especially with formatting. These behaviors are specific to Ventura & did not occur in previous

MacOS Versions such as Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina, etc.

Anyone know if there's a fix for this? Thank you.

  1. After copying / pasting, all text randomly disappears from the entire page even though the paste did not overwrite the content. As soon as you click or move the cursor the text re-appears.
  2. When using bullet items, after copying / pasting to a line, if you position the cursor in front of the text & select delete button it actually starts deleting text behind where the cursor sits which is the complete opposite of what is should do.
  3. When using bullet item lists, extra bullet items show on additional lines. These lines are actually empty even though they show a bullet.
  4. When using bullet items, bold formatting is randomly enabled & must be enabled.
  5. The TextEdit "Text Background Color" feature no longer extends beyond text characters to wrap with page or window.

Examples below.

Is their a way to revert to the behavior of the MacOS versions prior to Ventura?

I typically copy shell outputs to TextEdit to take notes, and the formatting change makes it difficult to read.

Thank you.

Ex. 1: New Behavior (As observed in MacOS Ventura)

Ex. 2: Original / Desired Behavior (As observed in previous MacOS Versions i.e., Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina, etc.)
