Family Sharing - Purchase Sharing
Is there a way to enable purchase sharing while allowing family members to keep their own default payment methods?

No. With purchase sharing the Family Organizer is charged for all purchases unless the person initiating the purchase has gift card credit balance in their accounts. Only gift card credit balance can be used by family group members. They cannot use their own credit or debit cards while in Family Sharing.
