- On a Mac you can convert a HEIC to a JPEG by exporting the image with "File > Export" as a JPEG or opening the file in Preview ans exporting it as a JPEG.
- On the iPhone share the image by Mail with yourself, and it will be sent as a JPEG. Then save the sent copy to Photos.
