Messenger App is not opening

Question

Messenger App is not opening

I’ve tried everything suggested: IOS is up to date, closed and reopened the app, deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted the devise…still not working. All I see is the circle turning in the center. Any suggestions?

I figured it out! Facebook merged something the day mine stopped working. Uninstall both your Facebook and messenger apps…then reinstall Facebook first and then messenger. You should be good to go after that!

There are many reports of issues with FaceBook Messenger. You would be best advised to seek assistance from FaceBook support.

My messenger is also has a circle just spinning around. I've been trying for 2 days to figure it out. It only happens on my ipad. Phone and pc are fine???

Karen. I’ve tried it twice now and still get the spinning circle. So frustrating.
