Earlier mac used to ask only password on rebooting or starting on. But now mac is asking "Name" and "Enter Password". I am confident that i entered correct user name and Password but it's not opening .
My mac is Mac book m1 model 2021.

Go to System Settings->Lock Screen and make sure that for "Login window shows", the option selected is "List of users", instead of "Name and password".
Also: did you turn on File Vault on this mac? This can cause this to happen.

The facts I see it which based upon the image above, there is No User Name Appearing in that image.
This implies that there might be more than One User account on this computer.
If that accurate ?
Are there additional User accounts
Did you already try to reset the user account password?

Edit: I have logged in using the name same as that icloud, (i.e, If ur icloud is XYZ@icloud.com, the Name is XYZ) and it worked for me,
