Double Contacts on Calls

Hello,

Please help. I’m receiving double missed and even outgoing calls since updating to IOS 16. It is not due to duplicate contact records. These are completely unrelated contacts saved in my phone.

I will see an incoming call from person #1. A missed call will show “Person 1 & Person 2” but only in my recent call list. My notifications center only shows missed call from Person 1.

So if I call Person 1 back from the Notification Center…I end up confused when Person 2 picks up the phone!! There is no rhyme or reason to who the second person is, which makes it incredibly awkward when I don’t realize that I’m making an outgoing call to someone I don’t expect to be calling.

I have restarted, I’m up to date on updates, closed all the apps. Please help!
