Auto-correct getting worse?

Is anyone else experiencing a degradation in auto correct? Not only is it randomly replacing my words, frequency with gibberish, but it has decided to capitalize random words such as ‘auto’ to ‘Auto’ in a way that makes writing in any length virtually impossible.

Any way to shut this off?

OMG the last month has been horrific! It’s changing correct words to something totally different, nearly at the stage of turning it totally off. Yep just had to go back and fix two words in this reply!!!!

Hello gree0232,

If you would like to disable auto-correct on your iPhone, this article explains how to do so: How to use Auto-Correction and predictive text on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Follow these steps:

    1. "Open the Settings app.
    2. Tap General > Keyboard.
    3. Turn off Auto-Correction. By default, Auto-Correction is on."

If you want to disable Predictive Text instead, follow these steps: "To turn predictive text off or on, touch and hold the smile emoji or the globe icon. Tap Keyboard Settings, then turn on Predictive. Or go to Settings > General > Keyboard, and turn Predictive on or off."

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
