if I purchase an iPhone outright through the apple store, would it be unlocked?
would I be able to use it overseas with a foreign sim card?

NOTE: ALL iPhone 14 models that are sold in the US only work with an eSIM. There is no physical SIM card holding tray on these iPhone 14 models that are sold in the US. Ensure that the foreign carrier has cellular service that it can provide with the use of an eSIM.
