Hello,

Is this occurring with all browsers? Can you specify which ones specifically you see this issue with?

I am going to assume Safari (for no reason), sorry if that's not the browser you use. I included what I believe are some of the most common causes for this issue but other things to check are in the below link.

If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected - Apple Support

"Check Safari extensions

If you installed any Safari extensions, make sure that they are up to date.

You can also try turning extensions off. From the menu bar in Safari, choose Safari > Settings (or Preferences). Click Extensions, then deselect the checkbox for each extension to turn it off. Learn more about Safari extensions."

"Check VPN or other security software

If you installed VPN or other software that monitors or interacts with your network connections, that software could affect your use of the website or the internet. Learn about network issues related to VPN and other software

Check network settings

Certain network settings, such as those related to using a proxy server or custom DNS server, can affect access to content on the internet. Even if you haven't changed your network settings, you might have installed software that changed those settings for you.

To find out whether the issue is with the network settings on your Mac, try viewing the website from some other device connected to the same network.

To find out whether the issue is with your network itself, try viewing the website after connecting to a different network."

I hope this helps.

Thanks for replying. I saw something in your reply to Tesserax that I think could be more helpful for you. VPNs are commonly the issue when an Apple Device has trouble accessing an Apple Service (like the App Store) or even the internet.

" I have turned off the VPN (Surfshark) and is also updated."

Just turning off VPN software doesn't always correct connection issues. If Surfshark's app configures your MacBook using a user accessible profile, you may want to delete the profile then shutdown and startup to finish its removal. Once done, see if things are working better before downloading a new profile from them as it may be the issue. If they don't use a user accessible profile running a uninstall program they offer for their app should do the same thing.

Change Profiles settings on Mac - Apple Support

"On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings > General , then click Profiles on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

If you haven’t installed any configuration profiles, Profiles settings aren’t available.

Do one of the following:

  • Add a profile: Click the Add button .
  • Delete a profile: Select the profile, then click the Remove button ."

Many VPN profiles have expirations and must be removed to add new updated ones, ensuring secure connections.

its a general problem, I use Safari and Chrome; but Im also having problems when I’m trying to download apps or even update them. It gets lagged and gets very slow (doesn’t download)

It’s not a router problem because I already did a speed test. And Im using the internet on other devices with no problem. I have turned off the VPN (Surfshark) and is also updated.

All of this started when I updated the system to Ventura 13.0 🤦🏻‍♂️
