I cannot repeat a letter when I keep holding down a key. how to solve it?

I cannot repeat a letter when I keep holding down a key. I have follow the instruction someone recommended by using Terminal command "defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false" but it does not solve my problem.

I can repeat a letter with holding down the key only in Terminal, but I cannot do it in Work, Excel, Google sheet, Notes(Mac default Notepad).

I have checked the keyboard setting on "Key Repeat" & "Delay until repeat".

Pls anybody can help?

See if there is anything here—
