Adding a VIP No question but I figured that to add an email VIP, the contact must have complete contact information including an email.

You can add a contact to the VIP list in the Apple Mail app.

Open the Mail app ➡️ Mailboxes ➡️ VIP ➡️ Add VIP: Here, you can add a contact to the VIP list.
