Vertical grid lines have disappeared Logic Pro X

Hello - I'm hoping there's something stupid I'm overlooking. The vertical grid lines have disappeared in my track editor - meaning, I can no longer see them through the regions in the editor. I've turned on and off "background grid lines" both in the track editor View menu and in the main window View dropdown. I've trashed my preferences file and cleared cache files, restarted my computer, etc.

The weird thing is that if I open a different project, the lines are clearly visible. Whatever is happening seems to be confined to one project.

Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated - I can't continue editing my project until I get this resolved. Thanks!

Replying to my own question in case anyone finds this:

The bug (if it was one) was related to flex time. Enabling and then disabling flex IN THE EDITOR WINDOW (not in the main arrangement window) brought back my grid lines. I don't know which series of actions caused the problem to begin with, but I do think it had something to do with enabling global flex and then quantizing a region I had visible in the editor; I'm guessing the grid lines were disabled so as not to conflict with the flex markers, then for some reason they didn't reappear once I disabled flex.
