I am trying to restore my apple to original factory settings. How do I do this?

Does every one know how to restore to factory defaults?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.6

If you follow the steps in What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac, it will be restored to "original factory settings."
