My microphone has an X on it and I have done all the suggestions of turning Siri on, etc and nothing is working. Help

We understand that the microphone for Siri is not working and you worked through If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone.

If your microphone works for all other features, but not Siri, restart your iPhone and update to iOS 16.1.1. This update has performance updates to assist with system anomalies.

If this continues, it would be best to reach out to Apple directly to investigate this further.
