When I export Pages to MS Word, I lose the photos in my tables. How can I fix this

When I export tables with photos, from Pages to Word, the photos in my tables disappear. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Just use Word exclusively. Pages is not a Word clone and it must translate its internal data to Word format on export. That translation quality is not guaranteed by Apple. Below, Pages v12.2 on Monterey 12.6.1 and on the right, the exported Word result as shown by Quick Look. The Pages cell has an image for a background, not an image floating in a table cell:



The Word document when opened in Word v16.66.1 from Office home and business suite.
