I am From Uganda and i want to buy an Iphone 14 pro max from US but i am not sure if it will work in my country. Where can i buy one which uses a sim slot?

You need to get one originally sold outside the USA, or find a local carrier which provides eSIM service, or use a roaming plan. Note that you'll likely be denied warranty service outside the country it was intended for.
