Caller ID gives false name to receiving phone.

Where are caller ID names stored? With the wireless carrier? How can I get whoever puts out this false name for me to use my correct name, instead of the unknown false name they put out?

Your cellular carrier sets your Caller ID name. But that would be overridden if the person you call has your number in their Contacts. In that case, that name would override your Caller ID from the carrier.
