Howdy Nich2you,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

We see you're looking to verify your student eligibility for Apple Music, but seem to be stuck with the process, right?

If we have that correctly, let's check into what could be contributing to this as there are multiple factors. First, let's confirm you have the latest iOS version installed on your iPhone. If an update is available, be sure to back up your information before installing the update. For assistance with backing up, or updating, check out this resource: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you have the latest iOS version, let's restart your iPhone normally to see if that may establish a new connection with the servers to verify the information. If you haven't tried a different Wi-Fi network, let's do that as well so we can be sure this isn't related to a network interference preventing the access. Follow along with the steps below to confirm they match the steps taken to verify your student status. You can also locate more details here: Get an Apple Music student subscription - Apple Support

How to reverify your student status

Near the end of each year that you have an Apple Music student subscription, you'll see a message that asks you to verify your student status in the Apple Music app or iTunes. You can also verify your student status at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

In Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Go to Settings > [your name], then tap Subscriptions.

2. Tap Apple Music Membership.

3. Tap "Verify your student status." You'll be redirected to the UNiDAYS website.

4. Follow the prompts to verify your eligibility. If the verification is successful, you'll automatically return to Apple Music and continue your Apple Music student subscription.

Let us know the results after trying those suggestions, and confirm which steps you've worked through already. We'll use the details provided to determine the next best steps to take, if you need.
