When starting or closing iTunes in Win11, system gets super laggy

Please use the steps here to update to the latest version of iTunes: iTunes 12.10.11 for Windows (Windows 64 bit)

Do you have an update that available for your computer? If so, we recommend that you install the update. Are you using any security software on your computer i.e. antivirus software, VPN, etc.? If so, we recommend that you disable those and restart your computer, so the settings take affect. These answeers and steps may help resolve this.

What version of iTunes is on your computer?

Where did you get it from? It's possible your version is the tastes version, we just have info for the last version for Windows 10, but the Microsoft Store would have the latest info.

What specifically gets laggy?

Also, It may be normal if your library has lots of music to load, or if your library is saved on an external drive or another location.

Does iTunes slow the system in another Test User on your PC? Look for the Microsoft instructions to test this.
