issues with Fitness app on iOS 16

I installed iOS 16 on my iPhone 13 and the Fitness app does not work. Is there a problem with the new IOS version?

Hi there airame,

We'd like to learn more to see how we can help. What's not working with the Fitness app exactly? Have you ensured you updated your iPhone to the most current version of iOS 16, which is iOS 16.1? You can check that in Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn more about updating your iPhone here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If the Fitness app isn't opening or responding as expected, try the steps in this link to see if they resolve the issue for you: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

Take care.

Hi! I have the same issue, neither fitness nor health app are updating after switching to the new iOS in September. I have done the all the updates, both on the phone and on the watch. I keep restarting my phone a few times a day, sometimes that helps, sometimes not. My phone is iPhone 13 mini (a year old). Is apple working on fixing the issue or should I just throw out my phone? The only last recommendation that I haven’t tried is deleting all my data, which I’m not keen on doing as I keep it to monitor my blood sugar and other relevant things.
