Apple Watch Weather Complications

Under the previous Watch OS I had a Weather complication in the middle section that I really liked - it would show my location plus the current temperature (I've probably forgotten something as well).

The new choices are inferior - crowded, cramped, small type.

I understand Apple want to offer incremental 'improvements', but I'd like to be able to retain previous ones that really worked well for me.

Hoping I've missed something but don't think so.

You are likely referring the Modular face, which Apple redesigned. If this is what you're referring to, you can't go back to the previous one.

I have the same complaint and sent an ease of use complaint to the product feedback site for apple at Product Feedback - Apple . Crossing my fingers and waiting…. Stock complication is similarly too complicated and too small for at a glance use……

Apple has a habit of tinkering with minor elements and making them worse. Very annoying.

Very poor user experience, which is what Apple is supposed to be about.

Really should be more options for weather on the watch

You are right new weather choices are bad, I worked on this for half a day, before I realized they had changed it, and left the old options on the complications and they dont work.
