Continuity Camera Apple ID

I’m guessing I cannot use Continuity Camera because my phone has a different Apple ID than my computer. If that is the case, why is this? There are millions of users that have a phone using a personal Apple ID while their work computer has a business Apple ID. It limits users from these great new features. You have taken the time to allow users to use an alternate iMessage Apple ID, so clearly this is something that is doable. Example on my work machine everything is logged in with my business Apple ID, but the iMessages for my personal make it to the iMessage app because you allow me to login via the iMessage app with a different Apple ID. This restriction to non-iMessage apps also hits hard on our users wanting to utilize tools like sidecar/universal control.
