MacOS Ventura - drives do not show off on desktop and finder sidebar.

Hi. I have a macOS Ventura on my 2020 M1 13-inch MacBook pro. Since the update, non of my external drives do not appear on the desktop or on the finder's sidebar.

I checked the finder's settings and all is thicked that drives should appear. When I go to Disk Utility, the drive is properly mounted, I can reveal the drive in the finder, and the drive is working properly.

The only issue is that the icons are not in the finder or the desktop. I believe this must be a bug. Any hint on how to solve it?

So I have a MacBook Air 2020, I updated to Ventura. I got into a Finder window, the sidebar only has Cloud Drive, MacBook and Macintosh Drive. I go into preferences and select my favorites and nothing. I restarted, nothing. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions? Thanks

Exactly the same here, on a 2020 MBA M1 running 13.0.1. Carbon Copy Cloner can see and back up to the disk, but it doesn't show on the Desktop or sidebar (when settings are that it should). If I unplug it I get told off for disconnecting it improperly. If I go to Disk Utility, the SSD external drive is shown as mounted, as is the Container Disk in it, but the volume that should show on the Desktop is greyed out (and repeated, one nested inside the other). If I click on either and select 'Mount' nothing happens.

It's pretty sad when Apple can't even get this right.
