I want to turn off the two factor authentication how do i do that

I recently misplaced my phone and couldn't log in to my icloud so I could find my device because of the stupid two step authentication thing cuz I didn't have my device

iPhone 12, iOS 15

2FA cant be disabled after its enabled if you're past two weeks of enrollment.


you may be able to have a verification sent to another device, in some instances you may need to get in touch with Apple

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support

1-800-MY-APPLE or go to apple.com/contact for a list of international phone numbers.
