I am using a MBP 16 M1 Max with a standalone Viewsonic monitor connected via usb c. Since I upgraded to Ventura MacOs yesterday the external monitor got pink tint. It appears only while I am using the usb c connection. If I connect the MBP to the monitor via HDMI the picture is correct and I even calibrated the colours.
Do someone else experiences the same issue? Are we expecting a software fix?

USB-C is not a very good video transfer medium, unless it is USB-C via HDMI or USB-C via Displayport to the latter standard's connector on the monitor. Otherwise, I'd be using a thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable that has a lightning bolt label on the end of the cable. They look like USB-C, only are thicker than most USB-C.
forgive me, I meant thunderbolt. However, this is not important as before the update to Ventura there was no problem with the same cable
Then I would look at your Display/color preferences, sounds like your Colorsync profile has changed.
