Terrible design choice considering that almost no one actually uses Nikud in Hebrew and I cannot get through a single word where I end up with the vowel dots on the last letter instead of space due to the horrible placement. How do I disable that button that is making the Hebrew keyboard downright unusable? The iphone has an option to choose a Hebrew keyboard without that button, but it seems to be missing on the iPad. iOS 16 / iPadOS 16 Hebrew keyboard vowel (nikud) button Is there a way to disable the vowel (nikud) button that was added to the Hebrew keyboard in iOS 16? It appears next to the space button after a short delay and I keep accidentally clicking on it all the time.

In the meantime see if the app store offers an alternative. Check the Keyman app.
