How can I say PDF documents on iCloud?

iOS 17.0.2 download default PDF files to iCloud Drive- How to Fix? I upgraded to iOS 17.02 so I've now lost the ability to direct a PDF download to the app I want to use. Previously if I airdropped a pdf from my laptop to my iPhone (or downloaded a PDF from a website or email) I had the choice of where I wanted that PDF to be saved. I usually saved them to Film Manager or iBooks because then I could open them without having to be online. But now when I export or download a PDF to my iPhone with iOS 17.02 it goes, by default, to my iCloud Drive. I want the option of not doing that. I want the option of directing that PDF to Film Manager or iBooks. How can I make this change? Thanks

uploading individual PDF's to iCloud from high sierra without turning on iCloud for all documents? i would like to upload some PDF's to iCloud from my desktop (or dropbox) without turning on iCloud so all my documents go to the cloud. i am on high sierra until i can get sorted so i can buy a new computer and upgrade. any suggestions? if not what is the most direct workaround please? currently they are being send to me in dropbox but what i am doing is gathering them up from my desktop computer into a folder on the desktop. now i would like to upload them to iCloud or get them to FILES app on my phone. THANKS

Cannot Access Documents In iCloud Hi, I have been trying to upload a PDF from iCloud to a website on both my Mac and my iPad but altough I can see the file it is greyed out and I cannot select it. On my Mac I can see and access the file in Finder but when I try to upload the same document to the website in Safar I have the same problem. Many thanks in advance.

Save the document to iCloud Drive , when iCloud Drive and desktop and document is turned as on in Mac the document will automatically upload in iCloud Use iCloud Drive to store documents on your Mac and iOS devices - Apple Support
