I have a new MacBook Air M2. When I press the caps lock it does not light up. I have tried everything I know but still will not work. Apple support unable to help. I believe this happened when I upgraded to Ventura MacOS.
If it is new under warranty, you can return it for one with a properly working keyboard. I think the light on the Caps Lock key is broken, and I think it is just coincidence that it happened when you updated the OS.

Hi Steve. You are absolutely correct. I returned the MB Air and they replaced it. The new one works fine after updating it to Ventura.
