Recovery assistant, no wifi tab on menu

my Mac went into recovery mode, made me select an account and password and is now telling me to choose a wifi network from the menu, but there is no menu?! I’ve restarted several times and shut down and turned back on but nothing is happening. Not super sure about my OS but it has the M1 chip is updated to most recent version

Can’t access wifi in recovery assistant I factory reset my MacBook Air With the M1 chip. I am now in recovery assistant, and it is prompting me to select a wifi network. however there is no option to connect to wifi. There is nothing in the menu bar. I do not have the tools to connect my Mac through a network cable.

Trying to find Wifi on an M1 Macbook in recovery - where? Recovery assistant needs internet to work but shows no wifi menu so i can select my network....help! there must be a workaround somewhere for this?

In the top right , to the left of the date and time?
