How do I connect my LG Ultrafine 4K 24" display to my iPad Air 5th Gen running iOS 16?

I tried attaching the Thunderbolt cable that came with the display, as well as turning on Stage Manager. Nothing appears on the display. (However, it works fine when connected to my M1 MacBook Pro. The issue is only when connecting to my iPad Air 5.) I also tried a spare USB 3.1 cable, but that didn't help either. Any ideas?

Having the SAME exact issue. Word for word lol. THE USB cable works that came with the monitor - not the thunderbolt cable

Stage Manager support for external monitors is not yet available - this feature being planned for release later in the iPadOS16 lifecycle. For now, Screen Mirroring is supported.
