Can I make phone calls on my Mac without opening FaceTime?
If I click on a website phone number to place a call, it opens FaceTime. I don't actually want to make a FaceTime call, just a simple phone call. Can I disconnect phone calls from FaceTime?

This didn't really address the concern in my opinion. We understand FT needs to be used but why does it need to open up fully everytime we make a call. In the previous OS it didn't do this. And actually I noticed when you make an outgoing call from "Contacts" or "Messages", it doesn't open Facetime fully and still makes the outgoing call. How can we go back to this setting? Thank you.
