how can i fix my iphone 13 pro max that is hard stuck on data recovery mode with no other solution? Took it to genius bar and they said no fix lol. apple bricks my phone per the update and cant find a solution? strange

no all they said was that they kept getting an error code (Below) and were not able to do anything. I also got the same error code while trying to do it at home. at this point i even said its okay to factory reset the phone to brand new but the phone wont even restore, it wont update.

well they didn't say much besides what they told me. They mentioned that it could possibly be a hardware issue if repaired would be replacing 80% of the phones internals, thats about it.
Never dropped the phone, have it in its case protected. how could it be a hardware issue. maybe a faulty part on apples end and didn't show signs till later. unfortunately my 1 year warranty has just expired sept. Not sure what the cost would be changing its internals at this point.
There would be no cost with the internals, you would pay for an out-of-warranty replacement. You would receive a full replacement phone, known as a service replacement unit. It could be new or could be refurbished.
That error message is often a broadband IC error message. The update revealed the failure, it didn’t cause it. It can also occur if the iPhone had previously been jailbroken.
They didn’t tell you what was actually wrong? Or is it that you’re no longer under warranty and the phone needed to be replaced?
