Disappearing Calendars after installing Ventura

Recently installed Ventura (MacBook Pro) and have been having an issue with the calendar.

When I launch the application, everything is there (all calendars, appointments) for half a second, then it all disappears. None of the calendars are visible,

Good day to you CoffeeEyes,

Let's check to be sure your calendar is syncing and not set to be hidden.

You can view they syncing in Calendars > Preferences > Accounts. If so, is the account enabled?

In the side bar of the Calendar app, also be sure the calendar that is set to sync is selected. Show or hide a calendar on Mac

Show or hide a calendar on Mac
You can choose which calendars you want to see.

1. In the Calendar app on your Mac, choose View > Show Calendar List.
2. Do any of the following:
• Show or hide a calendar’s events: Select or deselect the calendar’s checkbox in the Calendar list.
• Show or hide events from all calendars: Press the Command key while you select or deselect any calendar’s checkbox.

Thanks.

CoffeeEyes,

If you go to System Settings > Internet Accounts, do you see that the accounts that handles your calendars are enabled? If so, we'd recommend rebooting the Mac in safe mode. This can help determine if there is an issue with one of the startup items on your Mac. You can learn how to do that here: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

If the issue persists Let's open the Calendar app in another user account on the Mac to see if the issue persists. If you don't have one created here's how: Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will help determine if the issue is just with your user account or across the entire OS. We hope this helps and look forward to hearing back from you.

Take care.

Thanks for getting to me.

I have done all of those things and all my calendars disappear one second after I launch the application. They don’t appear in the side bar, but they appear under the Preferences>Accounts in the menu.

Also, upon installing Ventura; each time that I boot up my laptop, the following things occur:

Norton has a warning that the setup is not complete

Finale (music publishing software) is deemed “corrupted” and it has to be reinstalled

I don’t know if all/any of these problems are related to Ventura and I don’t expect all of them to be resolved in this thread (after all, I am most interested in resolving the Calendar issue); I am simply noting that these issues coincide with the downloading of the OS.

Thank you once again for replying and I would be most grateful for any other advice or troubleshooting you may suggest.
