Captain Plugins with GarageBand

I had the same question about using Captain Plugins with GarageBand on macOS as mentioned in this 2021 discussion:

Captain Plug-ins - Apple Community

After installing Captain Plugins, I got this to work by copying the Captain Plugins folder from Library/Application Support/ to Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and then starting GarageBand.
