How to prove I have blocked my missing iPhone

Hi I was just wondering I need to prove I have blocked my iPhone 13 which has been stolen for my insurance how could I do that

If you donot do the following then your iPhone can be used only by someone who knows your Apple ID and Apple ID password.


DO NOT remove the Activation lock. If your device is still under your Apple ID it is as good as locked permanantly. Do not share your Apple ID and Password.


Don'ts

If you remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.


An example of my iPhone 5 is given in the GIF below. There is no "Undo" after you remove it from your account.





Beware of Phishing!


Be careful and be smart to --> Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phoney support calls ...

Note: Apple will never send you any info on Lost/Found iPhones. It (Phishing) may appear as the image given below.
