Photo sync is stuck on iPhone that I just retired.

Photo sync is stuck on iPhone that I just retired. I transferred all of my stuff from my 12 Pro Max to my new 14 Pro Max. The problem that I am having is that, when I try to sync the photos on the old 12 Pro Max to iCloud, it just gets stuck and stops at 35 photos of 3,116. I have restarted the phone, toggled off backup and clicked/unclicked the pause button. Any suggestions?

  2. Confirm that your iPhone is connected to power.
  3. Make sure to have Low Data Mode off in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data Mode.
  4. Confirm that you have enough storage space available: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad - Apple Support
  5. You'll want to ensure that your iPhone is connected to a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection.


Following each of these steps will help to see if you can upload your photos to iCloud without any issues.
