Wallpaper resets with restart on MacBook Pro
I am using a vacation photo as the wallpaper on my 2021 MacBook Pro. Since the ventura update, whenever I restart my mac, the wallpaper resets to the default. How can I fix this?

Once you log into your user account, are you saying it is still showing the default Ventura...?

was there any change?
Did you try a simple default back ground image of your choosing and compare the results if it sticks or not...

Yes, that is what's happening.
What I just did was to go through the Photos app rather than through Settings. My photo now reappears as the wallpaper once I log in. Thanks.
