watch update
I can not get my watch to update after updating my phone. I have tried since October 18th. It is now saying it is not close enough to the phone. It is fully charged sitting on the phone. Please help.

When you say “it’s sitting on the phone” is it on its charger? It’s best if it’s on the charger and the phone can just be beside it.
Which Watch model is it? Identify your Apple Watch - Apple Support
- Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger.
- Restart your Apple Watch.
- Restart your paired iPhone.
- Try again to update your Apple Watch.
If the update won't start:
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap General > Software Update.
- Delete the update file.
- Try again to update your Apple Watch.
