photos application

was saving photos to another device and the photos app is no longer working. exiting photos is not available as an option

Have you tried force quit? (Click apple logo top left of your screen.)

This Photos app absolutely sucks. I think Apple is moving backward rather than forward. I found it to be more trouble free 5 years ago.

Photos stuck on downloading [number] originals Photos have been stuck on 'downloading [insert number] originals, for example, in my case, photos are 'downloading 21 originals' on my Mac, but everything is fine on my iPad, so can someone please help? I have tried quitting and re-opening Photos, still stuck. The screenshot below may help. Also, the number in downloading [number] originals doesn't change.
