iPhone 13 not automatically connecting to car bluetooth

I recently got an iPhone 13, I connected the new phone to the Bluetooth in my car (2012 Hyundai i20 if that matters) with no problem, but have noticed that every time I get in and start the car it does not connect automatically. I have to go into Bluetooth settings on the phone and manually push the 'CAR MEDIA' to get it to pair again. My previous android phone never had this issue, and would connect automatically each time.

I've tried restarting the phone, turning Bluetooth on and off, and deleting and re-pairing the device to no avail.

I tried to removing all connected devices from my phone and car as well but it results the same

Every time when i enter in my car i have to pare it manually.

Very frustrating. Any ideas or any solution?

Just figured it out from reading a similar post from last year. I was able to connect to my Subaru Forester by setting it up via the steering wheel voice command. Not sure why this works, but I’m no longer having problems.

This was the procedure used:
