VENTURA 13 WON'T DOWNLOAD

I have tried downloading Ventura onto my Mac from the App Store. It won't download. Says its not available as the laptop isn't compatible. I have checked and the laptop is compatible.

Downloading MacOS Ventura for a 2nd time. I am trying to download MacOS Ventura in my iMacBook Air 2020, but when I download it, it doesn't "apply the changes" and, when I open settings, it asks me to download it again, just as if I didn't download anything.

Ventura install not compatible? I am running macOS sierra 10.12.6 on my macbook pro. I was told it is outdated and I should download MacOS Ventura from the app store. When i attempt to do so, I get an error message saying it failed because it requires macOS 10.12 or higher. Why?

Have you tried clicking on Software Update in System Preferences?

Also try restarting in Safe Mode and see if you can upgrade from there.
