How do I get my phone to screen record??

Record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Make sure ‘Screen Record’ button is in Control Center by going to Settings > Control Center and make sure Screen Recording is added.
To start a screen recording, open Control Center and press on the Screen Record button.
