Remove hyperlinks from formulae results

I have multiple cells containing text, some of which have links (which I want to keep ... they are useful.

When I reference the text in a formula (=cell & cell, or jointext, or concatenate etc.) the resultant string also has the hyperlink. Not so useful!!!

How do I stop formulae results from containing links that may appear in the source cells?

Hi Folbo,

Perhaps the PLAINTEXT function will work for you.

Type = in any cell to bring up the Function Browser.

Type plain in the search box

More information on your overall aim will help us to help you.

What does your table look like, and what extra text do you want to concatenate?

Please post a screen shot of some made-up data so that we can see what you see.

You can remove the formula and the formatting via command-c, followed by Edit > Paste Formula Results.

But I haven't figured out how to remove the formatting while leaving the formula.

Unless someone else here discovers a way, you might consider giving feedback to Apple via Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in your menu.
