Data copy requests prompt security alert and cancels the request!

A few days or so after I make a request to obtain a copy of my iCloud/Apple ID data I get an alert stating that I need to reset my password and that my request has been canceled due to security reasons!


This is very irritating and I've never had a security alert on my account before my initial data request.


Does Apple just not want to provide me a copy of my data?? Ha!


I requested a copy of my data for the 3rd time just now, I guess we'll see what happens...

We understand that you're trying to access your data via the steps at Get a copy of the data associated with your Apple ID account - Apple Support


You'll want to Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support and then try and access the data request again. If issues persist, then contact Apple Support for assistance.
