I am getting text messages on my iWatch but not on my iPhone, why? and how do I correct this?

Messages from Blocked Contacts Still Appear on iWatch I have followed a previous thread that said to go to the iWatch app on your iPhone > Messages > Mirror iPhone. This does not prevent the messages from a blocked contact from coming to my iWatch. My iWatch is up to date (version watchOS 9.3.1) This is a huge software glitch/safety concern, and allows harassment from blocked contacts. Does Apple have any plans to resolve this?
