Purchased music disappeared after cancelling Apple music

HiX, I had hundreds of purchased songs before I tried a free Apple Music subscription. But when I cancelled my Apple Music trial, all my songs disappeared along with the ones I downloaded while using Apple. Suico trial. I understand the songs during the trial will not stay but what about all the ones I bought before? I looked on iTunes Store and it only shows the last 250 recent songs. What about the rest??
