Connecting iPad mini 6 and iPhone SE to wired headphones

First of all can I please vent my frustration. Why was the headphone jack taken away from these devices? It is the most efficient sustainable solution. And surely Apple needs to recognize its responsibilities along with the rest of us.

However, I am where I am and before I look to returning my latest purchase of the IPAD mini 6, I wanted the communities views on an efficient, outstanding quality, sustainable solution. Are there any usbc to jack solutions that the community would recommend?
