I have just bought this phone, I phone 12 max pro. One week in the Face ID camera has stopped working. What should I do?

I have just bought this phone, one week in and the Face ID has developed a fault. What should I do

Face ID stopped working Have iPhone 13 pro Max excellent condition had it for 16 months, bought it second hand with battery capacity 98% now is 92%. Suddenly Face ID stopped working. Went to apple store today said the issues in the front camera cost over A$450 to fix the problem. I am totally agreed but is not hardware issues the front camera still works no issues .. I saw few clients had this issues apple should fix it with no extra charge. My previous iPhone 11 pro max had no issues what so ever .. as long many had this fault WHY WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE COST. I will try to rise the issues let you know. Thanks

I would back up the phone and then reset it and start over
