Instagram on iPad OS16

Since upgrading to ipad os 16, Instagram is completely messed up and virtually unuseable.

The screen is weirdly stretched out. Stories all have the sides cut off. You also can not post stories because the bottom part of the screen is missing.

How do I rectify this?

New iPad, iOS update and Instagram Got my new iPad yesterday. Downloaded updated iOS 16 and now Instagram isn’t working. Found other people commenting on another article, but no resolution. 1. The app is weirdly cropped, right and left edges of others’ stories are gone (especially obvious with text stories) 2. No post button for stories. 3. iPad Pro instagram issue bought new iPad Pro/ updated instagram ‘share to story’ link is missing from screen. Read someone else had this issue. Reboots ineffective. Thoughts?

And no, Stage manager does not rectify it. Just makes it worse.
